Gastronomic event focused on the delicious white fig of cilento, fine quality that the dried version has received the protected geographical indication. During the festival it is offered numerous specialty issues, first, second and desserts all characterized by the presence of this special ingredient.
The fig tree is called white thanks to the characteristic light color but becomes brown after drying and firing. One of the ancient preparations is to arrange them stuffed into two parallel slats but is also stuffed or coated and consumption more traditionally takes place during the christmas period.
