Autumn has begun for a few weeks and Felitto already feels in the air the euphoria of a new manifestation. Go back with a new appointment Autumn Flavors in Felitto, from 26 to 28 october. The event, born with the aim of enhancing the historic center and promoting the tourist flow in a seasonalized season, celebrates this year's anniversary of the eleventh performance. Since its first edition in November 2005, the event is aimed at revealing the hidden attractions of the old town to the coming tourists, and even to the lover, by giving value to lanes and alleys used only by residents to return home.
In the rediscovery tour of the old town, the walk is enhanced with the scents and the unmistakable flavors of traditional dishes and the unmatched Fusillo Felittese. After being present on the front line during the Festival of Fusillo Felittese, our typical dish, which used to be served on tables only on holiday days, goes back to a revised version in typical autumnal style: with porcini and sausage mushrooms. A nice variation that is flanked by the choice of classic seasoning with veal ragout.
The event is also organized for this edition 2016, by the Pro Loco Felitto team, led by President Angelo Vilardi, with the support of the Municipality, other Associations and Local Institutions and many enthusiasts of the historic center and of the autumn flavors. First of all, during the three days, you can taste all of our dishes and then get involved with the activities we are organizing, including: guided tours to the Old Town and the Gorges of Heat, shows of popular music traditions, games, exhibitions of art and crafts.
